Construction Updates, June 17

Former Front Office of Due West.

Where is Mrs. Dewberry's desk?

This summer finds Due West at an amazing crossroad.  Other than some painting and carpeting, our building has been virtually untouched since 1988--the year the "new wing" was added.  After almost twenty years we are getting the extremist of makeovers!  Twelve new classrooms, a computer lab, and a suite of administrative offices will be added.  The cafeteria will be enlarged, the gym will receive a new roof and air conditioning (hurray), sprinkler heads will be installed in the ceiling of every classroom, and the front office and Principal's office will be completely renovated.  Several other small projects will be taking place in the kitchen and other parts of the building.

As of May 30, all employees have been banished from the building.  At this time we do not know when we will be allowed to return, but will keep this site updated with the latest developments.

  • The phone lines are in operation.  Please leave a message, and someone will return your call.
  • Registration will take place on July 24--maybe outside?!?

Newcomers, please do not attempt to visit the building until we give the word on this site.  We will meet with you as soon as we can get back into the building.

Check back for further updates on the changing face of Due West.
