Great job! Fifth grade shared not only their beautiful talents but many historical facts from the 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's, and 2000's. I cannot tell you how proud I was of you that night. I cannot wait to hear you sing again.

PERFORMATHON 2008

If you take private music lessons continue to practice for our annual Performathon on Friday, March 7.

These students will share with their peers their talents. It is never to early to begin preparing for this special day at Due West.

I cannot wait to hear all of you sing, dance, play and share your gifts.

PERFORMING ARTS

Do not forget the following performing arts for 2nd, 3rd and 5th grade.

Second Grade - Firebird Suite October 29th at the Cobb Civic Center

Third Grade- Henry and Mudge November 7 at the Cobb Civic Center

Fifth Grade- Atlanta Symphony Orchestra at the Cobb Energy Center February 12th

Kindergarten, First and fourth Grade will have performances at school during the year. More information to come.

JUST A REMINDER!

Bring your folder, pencil and recorder to music. If you do not have them you cannot pass off on Recorder Karate!!!

Change in Calendar!!!

There has been a change in the 5th grade musical. The date will be Tuesday, October 23rd - Please make your calendars for the fun, informative and moving program.

Recorder Time

Fourth and Fifth Grade students will use recorders this year in music class. Fourth Grade will begin on September 5th and Fifth Grade will begin on October 15. Please have your recorder and music folder ready for an exciting musical experience.
