Please bring in a WRAPPED book, friendly for both girls and boys by Friday December 21st.
It will be a great time of fun and silliness as we pass the books around and around. Where they stop, we don't know!
Oh...please spend between $3.00 and $6.00 on the books.

Ms. Hammons taught us all about details, and how we make make "juicy" sentences. We wrote a class story about Miss Pearce, and illustrated the story using "juicy" pictures!

Please join us on for the Annual First Grade Winter Holiday Show!
Who: First Grade Students!
What: Will be presenting "Melton, the Warm Hearted Snowman"
When: Tuesday, December 4th at 7:00 pm.
Where: Due West Cafe
Why: Beacuase they are so darn cute!!!
Parents, please have your children there NO later than 6:45 pm.
Parents, keep an eye and an ear out for some up and coming events. The Munchkins of First Grade are going to be very busy in the month of December!
We are working on a service project with Argyle Elementary. They are a VERY needy school, and we are hoping to connect with another class to share the Christmas Spirit. Mrs. Feldman, our Co-Room Mom will be sending home a letter shortly.
Also, Edible Maps are coming! We need your help to make this project a success! Information will be sent out Monday, 11/19!
Polar Express Day...it's coming...so is our Holiday Book Exchange! Whoo Hoo!
What a great time we had eating with our Grandparents! Thank you to all the Grand-dad's and Grand-mom's that could join us! The food was delicious...yummy turkey dinner, and so was the company! We can hardly wait till next year!
