October Happenings
We started our fall unit this week by taking a nature walk around our school. Children noticed that the leaves are changing, the air is cooler, and the flowers in the garden are turning brown. We collected leaves and pinecones and then we sorted them according to their types and colors. We estimated how many objects there were in the whole group and then Sierra counted them out loud.
Next week we will do activities with apples. Please send in 2 or more apples so that we can sort, graph, count and taste them.
