Happy New Year!
This week’s book is Six Snowy Sheep, a counting yarn about (you guessed it) six wooly winter sheep playing with the winter sports equipment (sled, skis, snow shoes, saucer, and ice skates) they receive for Christmas. In the end, the sixth sheep has to shovel the others out of the snow bank they’ve all smashed into. Too bad he wasn’t around to shovel us out last week!
Our related thematic learning activities include:
-
A heart shaped sheep cutting / art activity (CD1 a; HPD2 c);
