Due Dads Due Good Are you looking for an easy way to get involved at Due West? We have one! We are looking for dads (moms are welcome too!) to help pass out the pre-purchased Chick-Fil-A biscuits on Tuesday mornings beginning, October 29th. Chick Fil A Biscuits are BACK! Chicken biscuits will be sold every Tuesday morning starting on October 29th. The cost is $3 and a half sheet orange flier was sent home last week explaining how to purchase. Biscuits will be picked up and eaten in the café. Students can still go through the breakfast line to buy additional items such as drinks to go along with the biscuits. 4th Grade Music Concert is on WEDNESDAY, October 30th at 6:00 pm. Mark your calendars! Note it is on Wednesday not Thursday due to Halloween.
Pajama Pants Challenge 2019 We will be participating in the district promoted pajama challenge to raise money for CCYA (Center for Children and Young Adults). This organization serves children in our own CCSD community. For a $1 donation, students and staff may wear pajamas all day on Nov. 4th. The funds collected go to CCYA and provide items such as bed pillows, sheets, blankets, towels, toothpaste, toothbrushes for homeless students in our very own Cobb community.
Grandparent Thanksgiving Luncheons Save the Date fliers were given out at conferences. Detailed fliers were sent home this week in Thursday folder including an important RSVP & note about grandparents checking students out after their feast. Meal tickets will be purchased at the door with small bills or in-state checks only.
Veterans Day Reception and Gallery of Honor Due West Families are encouraged to send in photos of family veterans by Friday, November 8th for our Gallery of Honor and Veteran’s Day Reception. On the back of the photo: include the Veteran’s name, branch of the military, student name, and teacher name. You can also email the photo and these details to [email protected]

Spring End of Grade Milestone Test Dates have been announced. Attached is a list of the dates and grade levels. 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students please make sure to mark your calendars. Please don't schedule doctor's appointments or other appointments on the mornings of the dates your child is testing. Thank you!
Free K-12 Tutoring Assistance The Cobb County Public Library has partnered with TutorATL, which provides online tutoring assistance from 4-11 pm. Due to our PASS partnership with the public library, this means that all Cobb County students can use this feature by logging in with their PASS account credentials.
