What a wonderful first full week of third grade!!! It was an exciting week with the Pioneer Pride Pep Rally, beautifying the garden fence and our first visit to the Learning Commons (library). In class we have set AR goals for how many books we plan to read this 9 weeks, learned how to work in groups for reading and math and started brainstorming ideas for narrative writing. Please continue to have your child read each night and practice math facts. The login for Splashmath and Xtramath came home in the Thursday folder. These are great resources for the math practice times. Each student set an AR goal based upon reading at least one Everybody book a day (some more). Reading aloud to your child also counts for their reading time.
Thank you so much again for all the donations! They have really helped!!
